Mexican Christmas/Families Helping Families

The Pews, along with a handful of other families, started an organization three years ago called "Families Helping Families" where families from here go down to Rocky Point during Christmas and build a home for a family there. The first year there were about 5 families that went and they built one home. The second year we had about the same amount of people and again built one home...but this year we had probably close to 20 families coming and going throughout the week and we built 2 homes!

Day one on the job and the only day I have pictures of!

These little kids live in the "house" next door to the ones we were building

Unfortunately Morgan and I could only be there to work one day because we had to make it home for Matt and Courts wedding festivities:) As always, it was a great experience and we loved spending time with our family and friends!
Also, if you're interested in participating in "Families Helping Families" in the years to come...let me know! :)
