I'm pretty sure there are about a million pictures with this post so enjoy!

Day One: Getting There
We flew from Houston to Miami late Sunday and got there with no place to stay so we found a Hampton Inn that would come get us from the airport and then made the driver go through a McDonalds drive-thru (in was the only thing open) because we were all starving...
Day Two: And We're Off
We set sail from Miami Monday evening on our way to Key West!
We got to dress up every night for dinner which was a blast because I can't remember the last time I got ready more than a couple days in a row :)
(ps. isn't my husband handsome?)

Day Three: Key West

We all decided to rent scooters so we could see the most we could on this cute little island
It was worth EVERY penny!

front to back: Dallin & Lissa, Matt & Court, Rex & Jake, Morgan & Me

just one of the MANY adorable houses and hurricane shutters

My brother Matt and Me
(apparently we have family in Florida)
Below is the
Key West Lighthouse

This is the ginormous lens they use inside the lighthouse

...climbing up the 88 steps (morgan counted) to the top of the lighthouse

...the view from the top of the lighthouse

...the very cool tree right next to the lighthouse
For lunch we ate here...

(catchy name huh?)

it was delicious

thanks to jake we will forever be remembered in Key West at
B.O.'s Fish Wagon
After lunch we set off again on our scooters and made the loop around the whole island...we stopped to take some pictures

Rex volunteered to feel the water...it was warm :)

but the air was cold
Then we were off again

We found the beach and holy cow it was beautiful

"The Brothers Pew"

Then we visited the Southernmost Point in the continental U.S.

Cuba is 90 miles behind us
On our way back to the boat we saw this huge kind of funny but still sweet statue so we took a picture with it

Back on the boat we got ready for dinner again and I wish I would have taken a picture of my shoes....they were adorable (thanks Kayls) but we were in a hurry

Day Four: At Sea
The cruise did a pretty good job keeping us busy on our long day at sea...there were lots of games and different activities but I think the boys favorite was corn hole :)

"The Solar Men"
Day Five: The Caymans
We took a little boat from our big boat to the island

We first went to Seven Mile Beach

then Hell

Then a place called Smithcove. This place was my favorite. There were hardly any people there so it was really quiet and the water was clear and warm...pretty much heaven

Day Six: At Sea Again
umm...we didn't take any pictures this day because we slept aaaaalllll day.....it was wonderful
Day Seven: Coming Home!!
We woke up to a rainy and very cold Miami on Saturday so they kicked us off the boat and we sat in the airport for like 6 hours...it was sort of fun though :)

We had such a good time and are soooo grateful to all the people who made it possible...Solar Electrics Systems for sponsoring it, Dave and Jess for watching Pepper and especially to Grandma Pew, G-pa, Meewee and Keewee for taking such good care of our sweet Emery (who we were extremely happy to see after 7 days apart)...We love you all so so much!
