More Garden

We finally got our real garden planted!

Here's the before

Morgan built me this garden box for Christmas last year...i'm soooo happy to finally use it!

Kenz was a big help

Emery too!

I'm not sure who Brooks was giving the stink eye too in this picture...

My sweet sister Annie...

yes sister, I know I planted everything too close...

Thank you Tater Bug for watering our corn!

(that may or may not grow...probably not)

And here's the after

I think it looks pretty good for our first go...but i guess we will see! Wish me luck!

The Zooooooo

Last week Courtney and I decided to take advantage of the fine weather and take our girlies to the Zoo!

(honestly i'm not the hugest fan of the zoo but I wanted to do something fun for the girls)

So we lathered on the sunscreen, filled our water bottles, packed our treats and went

I can't believe how big my baby is getting...

Kenz was VERY excited to see the animals...can you tell?

Two hours later we were pooped! But when all was said and done I am glad we went :)

K and Courtney posted about this trip on her blog and wrote it from the girls perspective and I laughed my head off so if you're interested take a minute and read this

Garden Grow

This weekend we finally started our garden...well part of it anyway...all this rain (which i LOVE) has kind of gotten in the way but we did get some of this planted

Emery was such a big helper

Goodness this girl melts my heart...

Now this weekend we are going to plant the rest of these

I'm soooo excited!!

(If anyone has any veggie gardening tips please let me know)
